Less Than Twelve Hours To Go…

oklahoma coupon cuisineThis week has been interesting… and somewhat intense. A fellow coupon-fanatic, Melissa from ConsumerQueen.com, discovered CouponCuisine and set out to tell all of Oklahoma about our new restaurant coupon service. The results?

Over 100 members from Oklahoma joined in less than 24 hours!

I was floored! Rachel e-mailed me when they hit 40 members… I was leaving her voice mail when they hit 80… we were both astonished. And it continues to climb! For days we had been planning to work in the Top 5 I mentioned earlier (Flagstaff, Gainesville, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Ann Arbor) because nothing had changed on a scale this large. But…

Good-bye Ann Arbor! Good-bye Flagstaff! (At least for now)

You’re probably curious what Melissa did to get the word out so quickly: the answer is radio. Wednesday morning she was on KYIS FM and mentioned CouponCuisine to friends all over Oklahoma City. (Thank you, Melissa!)

That DOES NOT mean the final results are set… people are still registering and telling friends.

Also, some have written in asking about how we’re going to tally multiple ZIP codes in small areas — the Northeast for example. Our database has a “radius” function that will group these votes appropriately (Rachel continually reminds me that Philly is beating Gainesville because of it).

I mention this because while the Community Challenge Map shows the Top 5 one way, the nature of ZIP codes in certain locations leave a *very* small possibility that we’ll have to go by the “pure data”.

In either case, the only way to make sure we approach restaurants in your city is to tell more friends to sign up — immediately!

If you wait, it could be months until you enjoy the benefits of CouponCuisine.

On a side note, thanks to all the members sending feedback on the “Save At The Gas Pump” bonus gift. We really do appreciate them.

If you have not received the bonus, you only have to use the Tell Friends page to get the exclusive download link. This offer will be taken down next Wednesday.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!
