Join Restaurant E-Mail Lists for Great Deals

Many restaurants have caught onto the idea of email lists to generate return business. These emails will give patrons information such as current specials, deals, promotional offers, coupons and new menu items. Some restaurants will collect this information on the comment card. Others will have a place set aside for this at the front of the restaurant, like a podium. If you don’t see an opportunity, be pro-active and ask if they offer a newsletter or email specials announcement and ask to be included on it.
The type of information that is collected is normally name, address, e-mail address and special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and such. As an incentive to sign up, these businesses offer a discounted or free meal on those special occasions.
Signing up for these newsletters is a good way to save on meals eaten out through the entire year. Getting a free meal on your birthday at your favorite restaurant is very attractive and will probably bring you back at that time.
Don’t be afraid to sign up for as many lists as you want. The restaurant will probably only send occasional emails; usually on the occasions you list as well as holidays like Mother’s day, Easter and other holidays where eating out is a tradition.
Ask the restaurant if they give an incentive or premium (usually a special discount or coupon) for getting someone else to sign up. Then sign up all your family members to maximize savings throughout the year. In this way, you can take advantage of multiple birthday discounts all year long AND get the incentive to boot.
You can even sign up at restaurants that you don’t normally go to. We can’t all afford $35 for a steak dinner, so this is a good way to save at places you have been wanting to try but haven’t yet.
Another benefit to restaurant goers is that the list manager can incorporate tracking to see which customers actually use those email coupons or codes to determine which customers are loyal and reward them for it.
If you are worried about SPAM and unnecessary emails cluttering your inbox, consider opening a free email account reserved for this purpose alone. Yahoo, Hotmail (MSN) and a host of others offer this service constantly. Keep in mind that you can have more than one email account at some of these sites, so you can keep your regular inbox free of clutter and you won’t mistakenly delete an email in error.
However or wherever you sign up for restaurant email lists, you can be sure of two things.
1. You will save money as well as eat a few good meals at your favorite eatery.
2. The restaurant will appreciate your return business.
Restaurant email lists are a great way to save money and try out new places. They are also a great way to look like a king when it comes time for birthdays and other special events in your family.

Mom,
Coupons for Oklahoma, Philadelphia and Gainesville, FL will be available starting October through December 2007.
Donna,
Regrettably Staten Is. is not one of our target locations until 2008. If you’ve joined our Membership list we’ll be sure to notify you when restaurants in your area are participating.
Thanks for your interest!

Rebecca, we’ll be offering coupons in Oklahoma, Florida and Pennsylvania during 2007.
Going to the areas you’ve mentioned will depend on the number of users we get there
Vickey, I agree… restaurant coupons are wonderful!

We eat out regularly, why not save with coupons. We live in the Okla. City metro area, but drive extra miles if the restaurant is really good.

Hi Taylor,
Welcome to CouponCuisine!
We do the same here in Florida - even driving over an hour away to enjoy restaurants along the coast. (There’s nothing like fresh seafood.)

I am trying to sign up but can’t get past the first step. When I click on continue to step 2 the website is gone.
Can you help me?

Sonia,
I wish I could help, but I don’t know what the problem would be — we have received many registrations today that have all worked.
I also tested it myself again just now and it’s functional.
You might try a different browser or even another computer if possible.

Hello! I have registered & live in the OKC area. I noticed that you said coupons would begin in October in our area…have I missed them?
13. Nathan | November 19th, 2007 at 3:00 pm
Sherie, thanks for your enthusiasm and anticipation… and patience!
We’re preparing some exciting things for OKC but with Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, have decided to postpone until January.
I do apologize for the delay, but want to make sure that you are extremely satisfied with our unique service.
